1. Baking soda for blackheads

Make a paste by mixing one teaspoon of baking soda with a little amount of purified water. Rub the paste onto the areas that are affected by blackheads and massage gently. Let the paste dry for 5-10 minutes and then rinse off with warm water. Repeat this remedy once or twice a week.

2. Honey

Honey is good home remedy for both oily skin and blackheads. Your honey should be very, very sticky if you want this to be as effective as possible. Simply pour a small amount of honey on your fingers and start rapidly patting the areas on your face where you want to remove blackheads. 4. Salt water

A slow, but effective way of getting rid of blackheads is washing the affected area with salt water on a regular basis. Salt helps to dry out the excessive oil from the skin and sterilize. Add one teaspoon of salt to 1/4 cup of hot water until the salt dissolves completely. Allow the salt water to cool to room temperature. Use a cotton ball to apply to the salt water on the affected area. When the salt water dries, remove it gently with a washcloth.

5. Lemon juice

Lemon juice is used for a wide range of skin problems, including acne, acne scars and blackheads. It is harsher than other treatments, so it may leave your skin feeling a little dry. However, it is very effective. Apply lemon juice to the blackheads on face. You can also mix fresh lemon juice with milk or rosewater to create a facial cleanser. Leave the mixture on for about 20 minutes and then wash your face with warm water again. Use it daily for 10 to 12 days.

6. Toothpaste

Toothpaste is considered to be very helpful in clearing blackheads. Apply a thin paste to your affected areas and leave it on your face for at least 25 minutes. Then, wipe it off using a wet washcloth. Repeat this home remedy every other day for two weeks.

7. Yogurt and Oatmeal

Yogurt smoothes and cleans skin, while oatmeal has exfoliating properties that get blackheads out. Together, the combination of oatmeal and yogurt is great for keeping your skin free of blackheads. Mix three tablespoons of plain yogurt with two tablespoons of oatmeal. Add one teaspoon of olive oil and one tablespoon of lemon juice to the mixture. Stir the mixture thoroughly and apply the paste to your entire face, leave for a few minutes and then rinse your face with water.
